Back in Thailand for annual visit. Tried to buy sim at 7/11 as usual and not permitted. Then bought prepaid sim with necessary registration at phone shop. My question is do I have to top up credits at phone shop or can this be done at the local 7/11

Acupuncture

I have injured my shoulder. My Son in law who is a soft tissue therapist advises that I should try acupuncture. Unfortunately he lives in Australia so treatment from him or his associates is not possible. Has anyone had successful acupuncture in Hua Hin. If so with whom, where and approx costs?

Orange bus to Cha-am

Has anyone used the orange bus to travel from Hua Hin to Chaam? If so what is the cost, where do you pay? Where do you catch it in Chaam for return journey? Any other useful tips?

If you are down Takiab way just near the Supermarket midway between fly over and police station is a supermarket - not sure of name. Next door is a small laundry which also offers scanning, copying etc service

Was there a few months ago and the footbridge was fenced off. They were upgrading the road on the beach side of railway tracks and that is the road to take. Runs from under the flyover down to soi 102(?). There is actually a couple of car parking spaces at the back of the restaurant

Try Convenient Grand hotel. Close to airport with clean large rooms. Breakfast is fine. Have used this hotel for 1am arrival without problems
