Re: Farang deaths in Hua Hin
If you have a reliable and official news source then why not post the stories yourself? We (as moderators) can only provide what we read ourselves in the news, however there is nothing stopping anyone else posting news if they have official sources (this is a community forum after all). We try to k...

Yet again, nothing on the Forum. Is this not considered news for those of us who live here ?

Nichchapha Restaurant

Since discovering it a couple of months ago we are now regular visitors and have recommended it to a...

Re: Hua Hin Restaurant News
Guys, somebody enjoying a meal at a restaurant IS NOT news. Please, if there is a name, start a dedicated thread so that people can benefit beyond the date of your post. Apologies for not adding the name of the restaurant. I didn't want to be unjustly accused of 'promoting' it. For those who asked ...

Re: Hua Hin Restaurant News
Found a very good restaurant across the road from the Bor Fai Temple - Soi 6, over the canal and turn immediately right and travel about 200 metres. Excellent food - Thai and European. Good service and nice salas that allow you to sit in the shade. Really pleasant place to have lunch or dinner. So n...

Re: 24 hour immigration report back requirement?
I was told the same by immigration so I don't do it any more.
On another point, when I recently did my 90 day report, I asked about the on line reporting system. The guy just shrugged and said "Up to you if you want to try it but it doesn't work very well".

Accident outside Palm Hills
Anybody have any further news on the accident outside Palm Hills a couple of days ago ?
I heard that a car hit a motorcycle and that both were driven by Farangs. Apparently one was killed.

I hope that people with O negative blood respond to this request. Regardless of whether they know John or not, it is the decent thing to do. I know that he would do the same if it was you who needed it.

Re: Renewing a UK passport from Thailand
On the British Embassy website for Thailand you will find all the relevant information on which forms are necessary including the payment details. And, NO, you cannot send them direct to the UK - I checked this. However they seem to be sending back the new passport in 2-3 weeks so the only inconveni...

Re: Renewing a UK passport from Thailand
I got an automatic reply to my request for an appointment. Got the appointment confirmed a day or two later. Turned up on the day and handed over all the necessary forms, photocopies etc. Then sat back to wait - a little nervous as I had some travel plans already booked. 15 days later, I received an...

Re: Bars that sell Cider?
There are a few but Buffalo Bill's has the most choice and you can get draught Thatchers in there. I use it more as a bar than a restaurant as there are plenty of seats to relax with a Cider and watch the world go by.
