I'm new to this thread.. what a great idea! Glad someone is keeping trash off the beaches, thanks for all your efforts!

Can I ask about the brown water along the main Hua Hin beaches? As far as I could determine last visit, the way it was explained to me was that because of the beach horse riding services, the horse poo is left on the beach and often not collected. Tides come and go and mix the poo up and result in brown pools of water in places.

Is this actually what is happening? Are there efforts to change this, get the operators on board to stop this happening? It seems such a blight on what are otherwise wonderful beaches along this stretch.

Please bring your own drinking water in a reusable bottle to reduce trash, also kindly say no if anyone offer you a single use plastic bottle water at the cleanup (even it recyclable it still get to be trash one day as it has life end.)

This coming Sunday 19th March there will be a special event with Kluay Nam Thai foundation at Bang Pu beach, Sam Roi Yod at 10am. Anybody in the area will be welcome.

I had the misfortune to be in Pattaya last month,and the beach was an absolute disgrace-they could learn a few things from you guys!
