greetings: a few questions. has there been any word on building a bk grocery store in hh? i heard the "village" was going up when i left 8 months past. also "big c" in cha-am? any new business in town of a western nature? good place to start nite drinking is urian's resturant. next to hilton. thai food, open air, walk up steps and 60 bhat carlsbad, ice cold in 12 oz. glass. go to dick's, jungle juice next. have fun, i'am sure not. k. bill

Did you get the email I replied to you?
There is no Big -C in cha-am as there is already one in Petchburi. They have plans to build a foodland here on the empty bit of ground next to Salesian School, but as you know nothing happens overnight!

What do you mean by "the village" ?

lev: there is a grocery in bk of high end status named village. maybe not. memory shot. has casino gambling started in thailand? there was talk when i left. stick made a reference to it in report.

I think the supermarket you're thinking about is Villa. They have at least three outlets: Near Sukhumvit Soi 33, on Sukhumvit Soi 49 and near the intersection of Sukhumvit Soi 2. Lots of imported stuff for the expat communities. No legal casinos at the moment.
