...two-tier tarrifs eh? next Black Mtn will be designated National Park status..then all Farangs will KNOW
they have to pay more to get in.
Well that's pretty much the case for everything in Thailand. On price for farangs and one for thais.
I thinkt it is not unusual that the price for thais is at least half of from the farang price.
My son & his girlfriend went on 10 January and the entry fee was 500 Baht each. So no two-tier pricing. Price is/was for the soft-opening period as work still in progress. No idea when the full price will be charged.

Dual pricing is incorrect. Due to the fact that the park isn't 100% complete, prices are 250 thb for children and 500 thb for adults. Staff told me today that work will be completed in 3 weeks, when prices will revert to listed.

It's well worth going now.

Some other prices..

Chicken Fried Rice 100thb
French Fries 100 thb
Ice Coffee 40 thb
Ice Cream 30 thb
Water 20 thb

Towel rental + deposit 100 + 100 thb
Refundable Locker deposit 100 thb

I don't know when it's all done but it's been open for a while.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Was there on Saturday and thought it was pretty good - a tower with around 7 different slides, a wave pool, a smaller section for young kids (less than 5 years old), a canel that you go around in "donut" shaped floats and a restaurant. My 8 year son wants to go back next weekend so I guess that says how much he enjoyed it. As previously noted it is a bit on the expensive side and not as large as some other waterparks I've been to overseas. Nevertheless it's a good addition to the Hua Hin family activity scene.

It's all complete now, went the other week and couldn't see anything incomplete, plus girl in entrance kiosk said complete now.

Also prices have now changed, used to be 750/375 adults/kids marked down to 500/250 adults/kids... now the 750/375 on sign above entrance has gone altogether with new price of 450/225 adults/kids. Kids is 5-12 years old, under 5's free.

Been twice now as family over from UK and both times everyone from the 4 year olds to the grandparents had an excellent time. There's so few people there that you never have to queue for a slide/tube even once. If one slide had a couple of people waiting you can just go on the one next to it if you wanted. You've basically got the run of the place while it's quiet like this, making the steep'ish entrance fee excellent value in our nine opinions.

That's getting a bit more reasonable; I thought before it would be nice to go along but at the old prices, if someone went as a family with a few kids and the usual friends, it would be quite an expensive day out. You might do it once or twice but you wouldn't be going every week.

If you tip the waitresses at Black Mountain (with the gorgeous uniforms) they can arrange for special one day free tickets - well sometimes.

Some pics and a vid. These don't cover the whole park by any means, there's enclosed tube slides not in the pics, plus lazy river, another part of kids area etc...

Looks good SJ, cheers. Do I have to pay for the GF even if there isn't a chance in hell she'll be in the water?

Don't know on that one. You would think they'd let non-sliders in free, but then again they have no system once you're inside to know who does what... no little yellow rubber bands on your ankle :D

I thought about that as well, you pay more for an adult despite the fact that the only thing I'd be doing there would be paying for family to get in and making sure they didn't drown; does it have a bar?
