African's swarming to hua hin?
read stickman this week and a reference was made stating that african's were being pushed out of bkk soi 2-4 by police and were swarming into hua hin. question has anyone noticed them down in bida?

Very reassuring to learn that the problem has not moved from Bangkok to Hua Hin, I too was concerned about Stickmans comments.

I saw four fellers from India turned away at a massage shop yesterday. The gals told them they were closed. The ladies later told me they don't like men from India and won't have anything to do with them.

That isn't necessarily a bad thing for the area; a couple of months ago I was at that small bar between the Chinese temple and the rear entrance of the Hilton and I saw several Indian couples emerge from the hotel. The lady who I go to for massage, nails etc says Indians always ask for at least 50% discount and do not tip so unless she is really in need of money she always says no.
On the whole Thais do not seem to like Indians I was on a flight once from Hong Kong to BKK flying business class - my seat was upstairs but the Purser pointed me to a seat downstairs along with two other people; a familly of Indians then arrived and they should have been sitting downstairs but they were all sent upstairs along with any other Indian who joined the flight. When the Purser served me he said quite loudly that he did not like Indians and thought we would be happier downstairs without them! The other two passengers wanted neither food or drink so it was a fantastic flight for me with four to one service and my own bottle of champagne!
On the subject of Africans there were a fair few around last week when I was in town but they all seemed to be staying at the Hilton!

If you get my drift, the Africans would stand out like a sore thumb in Hua Hin.
On Soi 5 in Bangkok it is a very very busy Soi, but with their nefarious activities these people almost closed down the biggest bar in Bangkok, (Gullivers), well if not the biggest, one of.
Regarding the Indians, I expect Thailand to be more popular for these people now that Bangkok Airways plus some low costs now fly more regularly India to BKK.
Whilst many Indian couples are absolutely fine, the groups of guys who stroll around wanting something for nothing do Thailand no favours whatsoever.
FWIW I am so thick I cannot understand how all those (tailors?) can work quite openly yet a Farang nips behind a bar and BANG, he's busted.

I have been told by a retired Pattaya bar owner that he has seen four Indian men share one girl. 
The Indian tailors in Hua Hin get on my tits, they ask me once i am polite, but twenty plus times in one day is really irritating, yes i do a lot of walking around the bars day time and evening they know they have asked you only an hour before.
