Happy Festivus from way down south!

7 hours to go here, but know its Christmas there, hope everyone has a good one!!
The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.

Yeah, Merry Christmas to all from a wet, dank Southern England!

You're probably lucky it hasn't all been snow...or you'd be buried no doubt! Petecaller wrote:Yeah, Merry Christmas to all from a wet, dank Southern England!

Its the 1st year after 3 successive white christmases, the 1st of which I spent in LOS. Lots of bad flooding over here though.

Merry Christmas everyone from a miserable UK. I have just put the house lights on at 13.45 hrs but am enjoying the mulled wine heated on the woodburner!
I guess mulled wine and 34C will take a bit of getting used to when I live there next year :-)

Enjoying 'Retirement'....So many jobs to do, I don't know how I ever had time to work!

Nope. Just finished our Christmas dinner and the mulled wine went down extremely well with my guests. Whole meal was fantastic and well worth my once per-year venture into the kitchen. Pity I couldn't invite more people to enjoy it.NOKYAI wrote:Merry Christmas everyone from a miserable UK. Mr. P (merry Christmas by the way), are you going to share your mulled wine receipe? There's still time here!

Thank you and likewise.caller wrote:Mr. P (merry Christmas by the way)
I created a new topic in Feeding Time with the recipe. Not sure why a Christmas recipe got buried in the 'Home Brew' thread, which I would have thought was more related to brewing alcohol... After allowing the spices to percolate a bit more, it was delicious.
