Rest well fellow expat.

Sarge - always quick to help out whenever I asked for Pranburi related information, no matter how trivial.

Shocked to hear about Sarge, met him around 7 years ago I guess, he used to come to the bar quite often for a chin wag wit a few friends, always great crack, often disagreed with him... especially about property, he would never back down...... but never a problem. Saw him at Richards place in Pranburi not so long ago and he was full of the joys of spring, last time I saw him and it was a good last way to see him :).
So sad to hear he has got himself away, I hope Sweet Cheeks is ok, she will have many happy memories.. she was trully loved and that is a blessing.
All the best Sarge, shall be having one for you tonight :)

R.I.P. Sarge. :(
The only time I met this fellow was indeed on the boat-trip in the photo above from Richard, but alas now I'm pleased to have (briefly) known him & wish him well on his next voyage.

Really shocked and saddened to read this, the first time I organized a forum meet up Sarge PM me that he would not come to the meet up in the evening because of conflict with another forum member but instead wanted to meet up around JWs. So he and his lovely wife met me and my wife and we had a really good chat for a few hours.
Yes a very strong opinionated man with a rich life story his posts will be missed on this forum and I really appreciate the fact that he put himself out to meet up with us a few years back.

RIP Dave top fella.

So sad to hear the news of Dave's passing. I never met him but I did speak to him on the phone from the UK a few times and we had a laugh about our medical conditions.

There will be a very, very large hole in the forum now that he has passed on.

Our thoughts are with his wife and family at this sad time.

Goodbye Sarge, I will miss your smilies.
I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.

Never met you face to face Sarge and like many on this forum I feel I knew you so well as you were always prepared to say your bit and it was obvious it came from your heart and soul.
We have lost one of this forums real characters and, respectfully to quote you from your first ever post ....
"we come here (to Thailand) and dont want to be budged"
and " wild horses wont drag me back(to the UK)"
"funny old world ainit" .
kinda got your wish Sarge
RIP mate.

Like some on here, i have never met Sarge, but by all the posts he came across as a loveable character, one that will be sorely missed.

My condolences to his family and friends.

RIP Sarge

The final evening of chanting for Sarge will be tonight at 20:00. Please see Big Boy's map here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=25223&start=15#p324282

The hall where the services are held is all the way at the back of the temple complex.
