Re: type O blood urgently required at Hua Hin Hospital

Post by maccastime »

Sadly tonight I have to advise that our good mate John has passed away in Hua Hin Hospital, he has been there for a month in intensive care. I have been visiting him since he was admitted tonight I arrived at visiting time 7pm at 7.15 John went into cardiac arrest , staff worked on him for 30 minutes but he passed away. Firstly to all the people who gave blood I say thank you. If some kind person could advise staff or drinkers from the Dragon Bar on 80 I would appreciate this. Family from the uk will arrive next week I will advise of funeral arrangements later. R.I.P. Dear friend

Such sad news, John the Dog (as I called him) was a friend and good neighbour, I have known him throughout my time in Thailand. He had a talent for and a love of dogs, especially looking after and training them. He will be sadly missed and my condolences go to his family and friends. RIP John.

While writing this I told my Wife the news, her reaction was one of shock and sadness, she said, "Oh no, John was a good man, never hear him speak bad to or about Thai people, so sad".

High praise indeed.

Maccastime: Sorry for the loss of your mate.

The registrar's office is in the municipal building at the main crossroads, between beach and railway station. I'm not sure but I think you may need a certificate from the hospital to take with you.

Such a sad year this is turning out to be.
It's not long since we all said our goodbye's to Richard, & alas now another of HH's great stalwarts has left us.. :(
There was a time we'd see John down Binta, but that was many years ago..but when I bumped into him at Villa the tail-end of last year he was still his usual enthusiastic-self with more stories to tell than even I could muster..555!
Puy & I are both deeply saddened, & our condolences go out to his family.
R.I.P. John-lad..you will be sadly missed.
