Go to the top right of your screen and find PRIVATE MESSAGES. Click on it, click on NEW PM, put in his exact user name, type your message and send.

It will show in your OUTBOX until he reads it at which time it will show in your SENT MESSAGES

You need 2 messages to be able to send a PM. Reply to this message and you'll be good to go.
