Motocy, Mountain bike or car?

Post by johnnyk »

As expats what do you recommend for transport?
I don't really want to buy a car expense for a few months a year but tuktuks can be pricey and inconvenient.
I've never ridden a moto, but as a passenger I've damn near shit myself a couple of times.
I'll be right near Wat Kao Noi, do you think a mountain bike is safe enough?

Unless you have family or will be travelling far you don't need a car to get around HH, besides parking is a nightmare.

A motorbike is the best mode of transport but, as you say, not the safest especially if you have never ridden one.

Mountain bike is great for short journeys and fitness however you'll be taking your life in your hands at night and getting pissed on when it rains!
