Portaloo Hire

Post by Big Boy »

A strange request, but yes, Portaloos.

We'll be having a bit of an event next year, and current toilet facilities will be inadequate i.e. I don't want people wandering through bedrooms for the loo.

I've been to many events in Thailand where a truck drives up, puts down steps and provides clean, nice smelling portable toilet facilities. Does anybody know where to contact one of these guys please?

I'd rather not hire the little plastic booths - they disgust me.

I think that those big trucks are arranged by the Tessabahn.

If the tessaban can't help, try google: รถสุขาเคลื่อนที่. Comes up with a surprising number of mobile toilet rental companies.

Hi Big Boy,

we worked together with Elegant Restrooms during the last event and I was impressed by their toilet trucks in terms of cleanliness and facilities.

Their webpage is http://elegant-restrooms.com/th/.

Cheers,
B.

Actually, not so funny. Our neighbours had a similar event a couple of years back. We have a huge area of jungle opposite our house. Many of their guests used the jungle  . Unfortunately, a team of Mexicans moved in, and built a really huge wall between us and the jungle. Luckily, our house is raised, so we don't see the wall, just the jungle.
