Car Rental

Post by Kraka's Dad »

Hi,

Can anyone tell me where I can rent a reliable car ? Have just come back from Hua Hin and the usual place I hire a car from F K Car Rental opposite the Sofitel seems to have gone.
Am going back to Hua Hin in January for 4 weeks so information would be appreciated.

AVIS AND BUDGET OPERATE IN HUA hIN BUT ARE EXPENSIVE.

A new company have started and are very cheap with very nice cars to suit all tastes. Name of company is (edited by moderator), they have signs up all ove Hua HIN, Cha Am and Pranburi.

Budget will rent you a Honda CRV for about 2,750 baht a day the new company will rent you a Toyata Sportrider 2,000 baht a day.

E Mail them on (edited by moderator)

Dr Dave, Soul Monsta! and myself hired a Honda Civic from Avis a month or so a go. It cost 1,400 baht per day. 20,000 baht deposit and fully comp insurance on named drivers.

Not a bad deal at all ...

The Honda Civic is now old hat but yes a good deal, you would get a new model car for the same price with the (edited by moderator) guys. If you want a cheaper deal still then they have 2002 Toyota Soluna's for 1250 a day and only a 4000 baht deposit is required.

The monthly deals are amazing.

:guns:

Don't knock it we all want the best deal, I use a car regularly to take the girl back home to visit her parents so I am well pleased.

:P

I rented from this company, a brand new Mitsubishi Cedia great deal. They are about 20% cheaper than Avis or Budget. All the cars are 100% with insurance for CAR HIRE.

They also have a website now (edited by moderator)

Your correct about the owner owning the ugliest dog in the world, Bull Dog, bloody huge.

:o

They (edited by moderator) seem well thought of, adverts all over the place. I know a couple of geezers that have used them and said the service was bang on.

I have not personally as I am on a tight budget so I use the bus.
