In the likely absence of any local teachers, you could send away for a Linguaphone course.

Surprise. . .I am a Spanish teacher (I am bilingual: Spanish/ English. . .still struggling to add Thai to this list!!) and have taught it at university level though not recently. ( I spent 15 years in Central America and have a Mexican accent when I speak it. .not Castilian as in Spain)

Problem is, I have a full plate right at the moment and as well don't have any teaching materials here.

Stamford offers a Spanish class which you might be able to take in another few months when the new term begins. Ajarn Oscar ( who teaches the class) might be willing to take on a private student if you contact him at Stamford.

So that's all of two Spanish teachers in Hua hin! Any more??

Chas

Thank you for this, its great! I never realised there were Spanish speakers here. It was a bit of a stab in the dark with fingers crossed asking the question on this forum!

Do you have an email address or phone number I can contact Ajarn Oscar. If yes, please PM me. It would be much appreciated.

Hallo Chas

Cool! Nice to hear that you are also a spanish Teacher and This is what I like also too you speak. South American Spanish not the dry Castilian Spanisch.

My Question is for the next Semester in Oktober I want to learn spanish as well and is A. Oscar willing to take a former student in private or in school classes too? When I'm there I need to talk to him what I need to do and how much taaching fee do I have to pay A. Oscar.
