Lost Dog - Pranburi Forest - FOUND

Post by Big Boy »

I am posting this on behalf of a friend.

His dog Lilly has run off near the entrance to Pranburi Forest about 5pm this evening, and hasn't come back. She's a very friendly dog - very approachable. If you thing you may have seen her/found her please let me know here.

After an intensive day of searching by a lot of people, she is nowhere to be found. My friend is fast coming to the conclusion that somebody must have found her, and taken her in. They have put up a lot of posters offering a reward for the safe reward. The family are devastated.

Where do her owners live? If they live in Hua-Hin, my guess is that she will try to find her way back home. Let's hope for the best.

Emerald.

There have been a couple of potential sightings, that do indicate she is trying to find her own way home, but she's still not been found. There are a lot of wild dogs out that way, and I'm sure she's trying to avoid them. Their biggest worry if she is making her own way home is the major road she has to cross.

No, I was down there with many others yesterday looking - absolutely no sign of her. It's a vast area, but I'm convinced she isn't there. It seems most likely that somebody has taken her. Many leads are being followed up, and they have narrowed it down to 2 real possibilities:

- There is somebody known for taking dogs, holding them for a week, and then miraculously finding them when a reward is offered. Maybe the reward isn't large enough for this sick git yet.

- The 2nd, is that there is a guy nearby that has dogs for fighting. He is known to use the forest area to get sparring partners for his dogs (what a horrible thought). A group went to find this guy yesterday, but failed. They are still seeking him.

She's a friendly dog, and there are so many looking for her, she'd have gone to somebody, looking for food, at least. As I said, I don't think they will find her in the forest, unless somebody sneakily releases her again.

A happy ending today. I'm not sure of the full story, but Lily was returned to her owners just over an hour ago.

The say she is a little fatter, but unharmed :D
