A question to the moderators of the forum, and others for that matter.
How do you decide, what is of public interest in a subject or what is pure selfpromotion for the posters private business ?
Two examples: G-house, monthly rates promotion. By allowing this particular guesthouse to promote themselves, are you beeing fair to your guesthouse sponsors ? By the way G-house is owned by one of the richest and most influencial families in HH. Im sure they could afford a sponsorship. The other poster in my thoughts is Buffalo Bills, with all respect for his pubquizzes (?), but is this forum the right place to promote it ?
Those were the clear cut cases, but there are many "between the lines"
promotors: boatcruises, alarms (sorry SJ), fishinglodges aso.
I have got absolutely nothing against the above businesses or their owners, I would just like to know the guidelines for the forum.
Apart from the mods, what do YOU think ?
