One mod I would like to see implemented here is one that makes links to external pages open in a new page/tab. That way you still keep the visitor in the forum, and it is easy to get back to what you were reading or responding to here.
I always keep many tabs open with the same sites in them, and this site is one of them. As it is today, I always have to remember to right click on an external link to ask it to open in new tab so I don't loose my place here.

Most people have got so used to 'right click, open in new tab', that its second nature now and many of the offsite links (such as those in the sidebar) do open in new tabs. Will look at that mod though, could come in handy.
