Therefore we can conclude that the problem only happens when zooming the text. Please leave browser text at standard settings when using PMs if you wish to avoid this issue.

Thank you.

I don't understand the level of defensiveness from the forum staff here...

It's a layout issue, therefore a software issue, pure and simple - in order for a website to meet accessibility standards, layouts should be designed so that areas will not overlap when zooming in. It's an issue I encounter when I use the PM facility, and I have to discomfort myself by zooming back out in order to complete the task.

However, while it is a software issue, for me it's a minor inconvenience at most. So the correct response is not the, factually incorrect (and very Thai style...), "It's a problem with your set up". The correct response would be something more along the lines of "Yes, there is an issue with the layout. However...[reasoning].. and for that reason we don't believe it's justifiable to spend the resources required to fix it".

I dont understand the ease and willingness for everyone to start attacking us for providing this free information service. Would you bitch at the Bangkok Post so easily if it no longer fitted in your pocket because you'd bought a smaller pair of trousers.

I have said countless times that the side-bar is a third party add-on that may cause problems when the text is zoomed to a non-standard setting on older monitors.

Please read the responses before going on the attack - "we cannot justify re-designing the entire site and re-writing the software to fix this minor problem for those that adjust their browser settings". The side-bar is too useful an add-on to drop to please a very small minority of readers; the majority would then start bitching because it is not there.
