CAREFUL

Post by Jimiherf »

I just noticed that admins have changed the board initial layout ...
Mhm, I understand it, but be careful about presenting to much topics choices
on the first page : you will very soon loose % of your potential readers
because of an "absolute" and "not easy to decode" layout.
Many sites died because of that.
A forum has to stay a forum ! HHAD is a famous one. Please keep a big link to its global page on HHAD Home.

Jimi, I think you'll find navigation is actually easier with the redesigned front page as all links are categorized and located in one main menu.

We havent done anything to the board/forum layout for some months.

Still you cant please everyone

Lev,

I was quite impressed with the new layout until today. For some reason, the Latest topics on our forum box has become centred - it looks a mess. However, I am viewing at work, and it could be something peculiar to the terminal I'm working on.

We had to make a few tweaks so it would view properly on Mac browsers, this may have changed something else, will look into it.

Lev,

Don't know if you're still looking at it, but its slowed down to snail's pace, and doesn't appear at all now.

Its back, but still centred - leave it that way. Better centred than not at all
