uk tv

Post by Lily »

Hi all,
Has anyone heard of this company www.getconnected.com.cy/
They charge about 13 euros a month for Uk tv via pc. Live or on demand.
I am so fed up with all the repeats on BBC entertainment and just wonder if this is worth having.

Cheers and thanks

I think it would depend heavily on your ability to stream rather quickly. Which may have changed since I was last in HH but I suspect not...

This is free. Not sure if it works in LOS.

I can watch Thai tv in the UK. Although a little jittery.
Actually the jitterisnes is better than the content.
I think thats the Thai end. :guns:
I do wonder if the BBC would authorise it as they like there revenue outside the UK.
I notice they don't have any contact information. And the euro payment serves a lot of countries.
I would like to know what country they operate from.
Even a name for the organisation.
I smell a cyber rat.
Any one else tried this?

Lily, if your connection isn't up to it a friend in Chiang Mai puts various UK tv programmes on DVD for me & sends them down. What I have is a fairly random mix, but I'd be happy to pass the DVDs on to you once I've finished with them. I've got a bit of a back library at the moment I could let you have.
