"Lifestyle mall" means rows of over-priced smartphones and no bootleg DVDs. RIP Pantip!

Haven't been there for years anyway but used to enjoy the quirkiness of the place and always being able to find something obscure in those dingy little tech shops round the back. EDO RAM and a 486DX2 anyone?

Renovation? Makes sense, after hearing that vendors and customers had moved to Fortune Town. Sounds like the new Pantip no longer competes with Fortune Town:

Mr Veerarit said the 67,000-square-metre mall has three new display spaces: an e-sport gaming zone; a co-working space designed for IT hardware makers such as Internet of Things developers; and an experience-enhanced solution zone for small and medium-sized enterprises.
