Well I went to the shop by The Baguette and it seemed to me they didn't have much of anything in there, just some HP ink, certainly not the Cannon ink I need, which they confirmed. So whilst there I also checked out the Baguette which left me underwhelmed (sorry but I think the bread rolls and baguettes from Saint Etoile are far better). So I thought I would then head to MV, but timewise, I hit the chucking out time at the zoo and the traffic heading north appeared at a standstill (I was heading south), so I thought I would give Bluport a try rather than sit in traffic. Banana IT had next to nothing, IT City had a fair selection of cannon inks, but not the one I needed, I then checked in Power Mall which had the best selection of inks, but sadly still not the specific one I am after.

No free time tomorrow, but on Friday, I will go to MV and if no joy, try the old supermarket and If no joy there, I will ask the other half in Bkk to get some for me and get it sent down in her companies works van!

Funnily enough, I remember in the UK having to trawl around to find what I wanted. Annoying though.

Reminds me of this thread.

You cant beat the online shops, Hua Hin doesn't really have much anymore in the way of proper IT stores for those wanting something a little unusual.

I have given up finding ink for my Canon printer her i HH. Even the shops which sells them stops supplying the ink after a while. I now always get my new ink cartridges on Lazada. Easy, quick and cheap. Cash on delivery.

Sorry for sending you on a wild goose chase, caller. I bought my ink from there a few months back and although my printer is an Epson, they appeared to have plenty of others at the time.
Still, you have now evaluated 'The Baguette', and correctly in my opinion.

I bought my last Canon cartridges from Power Buy on Petchkasem Road corner of Soi 80. They are Canon stockists, I bought the printer from them.

I've bought quite a lot through Lazada and never had a 2 or 3 day delivery. Of course it depends what you're buying as Lazada only processes your order through to the supplier.
I think the quickest I've had is around a week while a couple of orders have taken 2 or 3 weeks.

OK, maybe we've been lucky, but we find 3 days delivery time (for items within Thailand) is maximum. I'll never learn, but my cheap point and shoot camera has started malfunctioning. I wasted a day yesterday wandering around Hua Hin looking for a replacement, but Lazada couldn't be beaten for price. It'll almost certainly arrive tomorrow.

Last time I needed ink - also Canon, Lazada was about half the price, and delivered in 2 days.

HH Tel - No problem, I was heading back from Makro and the small garden centre by Hefele, so on my way and keen to check out the Baguette in any case.

BB - I do order from Lazada from time to time and from within Thailand, but I have never had such a quick delivery. A week at best.

Robcar - thanks for the heads-up, I will visit tomorrow.

Only last week I ordered a small item and missed the delivery when the postman phoned up to deliver it the following day (because we were out). Got it the day after anyway. And yes, it was a postman. First time I've had a Lazada COD delivery by post rather than Kerry.

I've just checked back on my mails from Lazada. Apart from nappies for my granddaughter I've had nothing delivered in under a week. On multiple orders they have often been split with part being delivered in a week to 10 days and other parts as much as 3 weeks ahead!

I have found Kerry being the most professional of the delivery agents.

Thinking out loud..... nappies are always ordered COD whereas everything else is paid at time of order. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

We’re obviously drifting away from the main subject so maybe another thread is required, but everything I buy from Lazada is always COD and I’ve had items shipped from Bangkok arrive within 3-4 days both Kerry and Thai Post, it has only taken a week+ if it’s been imported, normally from China but I’m certain it’s never been more than 10-14 days.

Must be 39 gazillion ink cartridge numbers but if you need Canon BCI-6 or CA6 we have several unmolested unopened ones you can have as our Canon died. Also have some Brother LC663 unopened ones to pass on to somone who can use them

by the way, Canon is probably the easiest cartridges to refill. Just drill a hole, inject ink with a hypodermic neede, push a rubber plug into the hole and away you go.
