Email Preference 2018

Post by PeteC »

Once again I'm interested in what email systems people are using the most. Pete

Why are you interested in knowing that?
Does a persons e-mail provider say anything about you?

Maybe PeteC is asking, so that he can decide which is the most popular e-mail system or maybe he wants one that is reliable in Thailand.
I very much doubt he will be judging anyone, based on which provider they use.

Gmail is my choice PeteC, I find it a lot more reliable, especially in LOS. 👍
I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.

I had Yahoo and it was terrible. slow to load and whenever I checked the box next to the email to delete, without opening it, The mail opened anyway. Yahoo home page would tell me that had 5 emails when I had none. Gmail works fine.

I've been on Aol forever and never had problems so have stayed with it. I also have a e-mail with my business domain used still for a little business.

I've been with Hotmail (now Outlook) for 20+ years. Good service and when there is a problem, it's responded to within hours.

A search indicates AOL was 1992 and Hotmail 1996. Pete

You have to go back further than that...

To manage several email accounts I can recommend eM Client which is a free download and includes a really good calendar.

I've used Yahoo for about 20 years for personal stuff but that's only about once a week, work goes through a company intranet system.

Free free? Or included as part of a paid subscription package?

I switched to Microsoft Exchange through Office 365 with my own domain after a few bad experiences with other webmail/IMAP suppliers. It’s around $3 per month and is worth every cent for stability, security, spam protection and uptime.
