HELP!!!! TOT charges for internet dial-up

Post by hopkins1104 »

I am staying in a n apartment in HH with a dedicated line for intenet usage ..an 032 number with TOT .... was told calls to CSLOXInfo 032 access number were 3 baht PER CALL maximum 2 hrs per call .... now received the mnthly bill from owner -- 3 baht PER MINUTE..... so my frequent use is KILLING me cost-wise 1000 Baht per day !!

Can anyone advise what I need to do to correct this or have I just been duped !!

Thanx,

hopkins,
That is correct, calls to TOT an 032 or 1222 number is 3 baht for the connection regardless of length of call.

Check the number your computer is dialling and post it here. For CS-lox in this province it should be 032529999 or 032529609, use 032547447 for Lox packages only. If you have an 032 4xxxxx number you may be dialling into Petchaburi province which will be a per minute charge.

If the number is fine your landlord may be partying at your expense! You can always take the bill and query it with TOT directly.

Thanx,
I was suckered ... when I bought the access card, I specifically opened it and asked local access number -- was given an 032 number -- which made sense to me as I am calling from an 032 number.... but from what you have said -- it was in the next provice it was 032 4xxx so the TOT will not budge on correcting.....

This is what can give Thailand and HH a bad reputation...pity !!!
