Lawson stores in Thailand
Lawson stores in Thailand
Spotted a Lawson store in the arrivals area of Don Mueang airport, and the mrs saw one in a Caltex gas station on the outskirts of Bangkok. Just returned from a trip to Japan where we used this convenience store a lot as it stocked a wide range of decent meals, snacks, and bakery products and was much better than 7-Eleven.
Would be great news if they are coming to Thailand even if they're not as good as the Japanese ones. But they could struggle to challenge CP's monopoly as Family Mart did. Anyone seen any other Lawsons in Thailand?
Edit: just saw this 2018 article claiming they're already here, but the airport one was the first I've seen in Thailand.

I've never come across one but from a look online, they have nearly 200 stores in Thailand but all around Bangkok.

There a store at the Shell garage on the left hand side heading Southbound from Cha-am heading for H.H.

Just been in there, and there is nothing to distinguish it from any 7-Eleven. Hopes of Japanese-style convenience stores in Thailand have been shattered!Ginjaninja wrote: ↑Wed Apr 02, 2025 3:37 pm There a store at the Shell garage on the left hand side heading Southbound from Cha-am heading for H.H.
