Rumour has it that Old Speckled Hen is to be launched in Thailand on the 26th January - in bottles and on tap.

I believe 'Launched ' is the operative word ... OSH is already available in Thailand ... It's been on the shelves in Pattaya for months in bottles although I have not tried it.

OLD Speckled Hen on draught recently hit the Middle East (Bahrain & Dubai) I am informed by mates there that whilst it is nothing like as good as the pand hump (sic) delight that is served up 'back home' it is a decent quaff, much better than all the 'euro lager' muck we are forced to consume and in some cases almost enjoy

I'll find out whether it is a straight CO2 keg bitter or a dual gas 'cream top' like Caffrey's, Killkenny, Boddington's etc ...

Whatever the case it's gonna be expensive I would guess, what with import duties et al ...
