Following the recommendations, we went this evening arriving at 7.10. We were told, not very politely, that the kitchen was closed. I ask why it was closed so early and was simple told - "kitchen closed". They may have had a problem and I will try again but they need to improve their attitude to convince me. There were three cars pulling out as we arrived and I guess they had the same problem.

Gave it a go today. Impossible to complain without being REALLY picky. Food and service great. Price was a surprise as very low for that quality. I would have expected 30% more at least. We were warmly welcomed and attended throughout the afternoon. Only had the excellent roast and a cheeseboard. Will report on the breakfast next time I have a hangover.

Certainly looks damn fine dining!!

But quite honestly when looking at a bill of 10K+ when taking the family out there's quite a few alternatives for a slap up meal in HH................ I'm becoming a bit of a tight @rse methinks

I can only echo everyone else's comments. Four of us dined there recently and we all raved about our meals. We arrived a little after six and were the only ones there, within a half hour the restaurant was full. Kudo's to the owner.

Just had friends over for a week and eaten out well (Kung Oy's Sofitel and Terrace 90) but the finale was the Palm bistro tonight.

Ambiance great
Food exquisite and well presented
Service great

A nice touch when the chef came to the table and asked how it was. A great way to get feedback.

Not too expensive for a special event although for me just a bit too far out in the sticks

If anybody wants to go and needs a tyke navigator, I'm your man

10 out of 10 in my book

The roast dinner on a sunday is the best I've had in Hua Hin, and in fact in Thailand, I might even push to say it's one of the best roasts I've ever had (apart from mum's of course).....

The chef is from Yorkshire, and he knows what he is doing.

I have thanked the lord for a decent roast dinner in Hua Hin.
