So I like El Ms as you can pick your items
They are 25b each-but they have stopped adding 7% VAT
My son does not like eggs either. If we go out for brekkies he will ask if he can have another item instead of the egg...e.g. an extra piece of bacon :) I have given him a "Thai omelette" though..he can seem to manage the egg if its all crispy and really brown. Also he can eat french toast..or gypsy toast...again well done.

At Kim's kitchen you can build your own breakfast so if you do not like eggs this is ideal. Other breakfasts I would endorse are Naab Thong and Terry's at the fishing lodge.

I don't want a Thai, American or English Breakfast. I want a heavenly feast, anyone here have an expertise in 'creating' recipes?

ALL places I've breakfasted at will allow 'build your own' and price accordingly.

So if you don't want eggs, or bacon, or ham, or sausage, or tomatoes, or mushrooms, or black pudding, or white pudding, or baked beans, or fried bread, or fried onions, or toast, or jam and marmalade, or fried potatoes, or French toast or tea or coffee or juice, or whatever!!..you can choose

Oh, and the pancakes too

Mmm...a little difficult then :(

Try this link...then you will find a country to have breakfast in :thumb: Although you could try the jungle breakfast ...couple of bananas maybe. There are so many wild fruits in the jungle which looks nice to eat but are not edible. You can also try to hunt for fish, wild pigs and rabbits and make up a breakfast platter :P

No doubt "tourists", but I have seen many a farang have 2 large Singha for their breakfast. How/why they do it beats me, but I guess it takes all sorts. For me, you can't beat a mixed fruit salad with so much to choose from here.

I do like breakfast at El M's, but last time I was particularly disappointed. They actually have 2 options for fried eggs, hard and soft. It's disappointing enough to get the wrong type of egg in a place that doesn't specify, but when you have the opportunity to order soft, and get brought hard eggs, that's doubly disappointing.

I don't like stealing recipe's or ideas from others, I create my own meals. Today I had some organic rice mixed with mango, apple, banana, broccoli, honey, cashews, mulberry, with a splash of peanut butter from the golden place...

Why go out to pay 3 times the price of eating at home, when you must build your own breakfast?

Thanks all for your recommendation.

Last night I went to check out soi 80 but couldn't find Liz or Linn's, so I was planning to go to El Murphy's for breakfast this morning instead. When I went to El Murphy's this morning I had difficulty with the parking space, so I decided to go to Hua Hin Fishing Lodge instead. Lucky that I just bought the Garmin Navigator before this trip, so it was not difficult to drive there.

I was greeted by a friendly dog with a leaf in his mouth at the parking lot, cute thing. I was well impressed by the size of these 2 really thick pieces of bacon ham, which was really filling. The bacon-avocado sandwich was quite nice too. Having the full English Breakfast by the pond was quite a pleasant experience.

I'm heading back to bkk this afternoon, will come and ask for the update of must-try list of English Breakfast in this lovely town again for my next trip here.

Terry

Are your breakfasts all day breakfasts?

I like a brunch normally and I'm sure I could whip up a few friends for a session. Maybe some fishing too

Happy you enjoyed Pete.
If you had both the Breakfast AND the Bacon & Avocado Sandwich then you must be quite full right now

Don't know where I first had a Bacon & Avocado Sandwich, but since we added to our menu about 4 - 5 years ago, they have always been popular - see below

For a good breakfast we like Bobby's bar on Soi 102.
Where Nam cooks you a great brekkie
Last time we were there it was 5 items for 99 baht, plus you can add on extras of your choice, eg black pudding
Bobbys also sells tasty packs of bacon, sausage and ham from the freezer.

Bobby's is a great little bar & eatery! and they find some unique ways to feed you... look at the thread on their sunday lunch, and yes in their case there is such a thing as a free lunch.

They are also starting a free BBQ on Fridays.

We hope you find it all as good as we do

^ Yes, Bobby's has always been a great place (in all three successive locations). At one point he had free food, not snacks but an actual meal everyday at happy hour. Great for darts and pool too.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
