Question too difficult for you Dr Dave ?

Post by Pagey »

My question was : is a Subway due to open in Hua Hin ?

Dr Dave, I know there is not a Subway in Hua Hin, I did not ask that.

I did not ask is there any sandwich shops in Hua Hin.

I did not ask is there any shops in Hua Hin with a similar name !!

(Maybe you ought to check your spelling also ??) :guns:

I've got to ask - why is someone in Saudi Arabia interested in knowing if a Subway sandwich bar - of all things - is due to open in HH?

Subway

Post by Pagey »

Not everyone who posts on the board live in Hua Hin. At my company here in Saudi Arabia I know at least a dozen men who visit Thailand regularly and some have property there. They say the main attraction is golf..............................

Some of us still have to work and at the moment can only visit Hua Hin 2 or 3 times a year but the message board keeps me in touch with developments.

The sooner I can put my location as Hua Hin and get out of here the better !!!

If you read my other posts they are mostly about retiring in Hua Hin and living and working in Hua Hin. Maybe another 18 months.................

I'm the same position myself - well not in SA - but you know what I mean? I was just curious about the Subway thing - are you a fan? Can't stand them myself and was just curious why anyone was asking? Is it needed? Do I care?

And of course there are no golf courses in Saudi. Come to think of it there a quite a few things in Thailand that Saudi does not have.

For all those international jetseters that travel from places far and wide, perhaps you should consult the Subway international website (subway.com) before you travel to your chosen destination as it has a list of worldwide stores (and no, they do not have a thai beef salad or green chicken curry 12" roll).

Just to let you know, in Thailand, the Thai food is the bollocks (that means it is very good to eat and very good value)
