Where to buy food items not available in Hua Hin

Post by sandemb »

Posting a link! I am not involved with this company in any way, but for all the whingers that can't get what they need, this may help. They are based in Chiang Mai, but seems like they deliver all over TH. Best of luck. Steak and Kidney pie ---- Yum, and I'm Aussie!

No need to go to CM. The sponsor list on the left has Hua Hin Ham & Bacon who make various sausages, steak pies, chicken ham & mushroom pies etc.

I've logged into Hua Hin Ham & Bacon, but would be good if they could expand the product list.

Looks like both are about even on price, so guess it comes down to taste and delivery costs. Anyone got experience on these?

You can't go just by website info, but i thought the Sausage King products, especially the bacon, ham and sausages look to be a better product, but the proof of the pudding...........!! I have emailed them to ask about delivery so will share any info I receive.

There are some really good sausages at Naab Thong, HH Ham & Bacon and Macro - have you tried all these and found them wanting?

Whilst not trying to do any of the local suppliers out of business, it often helps to have some healthy competition so I emailed the Sausage King company and received the following information.

Orders are normally delivered within 2-3 days of payment, on a door to door basis.

Cost of delivery is 350 baht for up to 25kg, (so it would be worth ordering in bulk to avoid high transportation costs).

Items are packed fresh into dry ice which keeps them cold for up to 5 days (they did admit that they might even arrive partly frozen as a result).

Payment can be made by ATM transfer to their account in advance (I've never tried this so not sure how it works) or by Paypal.

Ok that's all I have, if you are interested then over to you, or for further enquiries, their email address is sales@sausageking1.com
