They have good intention but don´t understand the importance of location for a non low priced restaurant.
These are not restaurant news but two things do seem to be news to a lot of would be restaurant developers in Hua Hin; "market research" and a "business plan". Without these two prerequisites most businesses will fail.
Sorry,
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
Can someone please advise where the chef from La Grappa went? I heard he setup his own place on P.K. road around the Intercontinental but haven't pin-pointed it yet.
Thanks,
GN.
Just drove down Soi 94 and noticed that La Rumba is for sale. I can understand normal, boring, run of the mill restaurants closing down but this place really tried, and had good food. They had something that nobody else in Hua Hin really offered and it was a nice looking place.
Sometimes I think that opening a restaurant or massage shop in Hua Hin is the kiss of death. How many have we seen open and then close at a later point in time. Its quite sad!

Yes, I found him after a long time! He has Pizza Garden Restaurant on Soi 94, left side past RR tracks. He has some great specials. Now runs this with another Itallian man. Wood Fired Pizza and Pasta mostly.
I wouldn't have to manage my anger if people could learn to mange their stupidity!

I was just about to post the same question. I arrived from Bnagkok and intended going there for lunch, as I usually do. There is a sign written in Thai, and on the same notice, in English: "closed, never to reopen. "
May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil know`s you`re dead!
That's too bad, I had many a good lunch there. I wonder what happened. It always seemed to have customers whenever I went.

Are you saying these have closed ? I saw the Whippet Inn the other day when checking Soi 80 Bars - didn't see anything to indicate it wasn't still operating. We'll hold publication of the Soi 80 map for a day or 2 pending your answer.
