[Mod Edit] How many times :banghead: :banghead: a nice restaurant is not news in Hua Hin. Recommendations are, however, encouraged. As such, I've created a new thread:

Found out, much to my disappointment 2 nights ago that Shiva is closed for renovation until 1st Sept.

We went to Kwality instead, and learnt they too will be closing soon for the rest of this month - low season is here

Hmmm.... S&S is closed for remodeling. I wonder if Shiva, Kwality and S&S colluded? :)

I found a restaurant by accident in Soi 6. Only because I was looking for somewhere to eat when visiting the little 'un in hospital. Called 'Moms' the food is excellent and it would be difficult to beat their prices. Wide range from pizza and other farang food to Thai food. 59 baht for 'burger and fries', 100 baht 'fish and chips' for example. My wife and daughter says the Thai food is very good. Their only complaint was that the servings are bigger than expected. We've been back a couple of times since the baby came out of hospital. A bit of a drive for people south of the town but well worth it.
They have liquor licence so getting a 'gin and tonic' no problem. Gin - 55 baht!
Recommend a visit. Closed on Sundays.

Thanks for that. Some great pics.
I did notice from a pic of their 'board menu' that prices have actually come down in some cases.

I live on 112 so it's quite a trek but well worth it.

I know this site does not welcome reviews, I would love to hear what members of our German community think of it, although I guess you can assess that by driving past in the early evening and noting how busy it is.

Reviews are very welcome on this site. If you want a review, start a thread with the establishment's name in it, and ask your question.

New on Soi 94: Uncle Bills Mekong Cafe

Post by Homer »

Opened a few days ago. It's adjacent to Moon 94, which is on the Soi 94 map. It's the space most recently occupied by Shaka Cafe.

For those with poor eyesight, find the gas station. Uncle bills is 3 shops to the east :)
