Funny you should say that about the naan - we all agreed that was the thing that let the meal down. Strange really, because I used to think the S&S naans were the best in town.

I only ever have a very small piece of naan, so irrelevant to me.

The samosas look like dumplings!

Was there any other sauce served with the bhaji's?

The samosas were definitely samosas :D. The bhajis were only served with the one sauce, but the four sauces were plentiful, and we were able to use on any of the starters, which we did. The red coloured sauce served with the papadoms was excellent, and one I'd never encountered before - quite spicy.

I guess it depends on ingredients if they make from scratch, otherwise which frozen brand they buy. I've never seen inside S&S kitchen (I never want to look inside a restaurant kitchen :D).

Before I answer your question, the name has changed from SnR to S&S  However, the food is still excellent. I had one of the tastiest curries I've ever had last Sunday.

(Yes, I know I vowed never to eat at S&S again, but I feel I've been sucked back in after about 15+ years, and I'm happy to be back).

It is a couple of doors from Ga Hanoi as you go towards Baan Khun Por.

It certainly seems like it. The first time I went to SnR the chef was saying he had previously worked at S&S. It now looks as though the entire piece has moved to the new premises. A better location in my opinion.

S&S on Phetkasem opp Bangkok Hospital is closed

Yes the new location is better a hundred times over. If they can't make a go of it there they may as well give up!
