Buying tea in Hua Hin

what is a good shop to buy tea and tea making instruments in Hua Hin?

Lots of others for particular items but the above should provide what you are looking for.

Can anyone recommend me a shop which sells Tea in Hua Hin? I do not mean the beverage, I mean the leaves to make tea at home.

If you mean a traditional Indian type tea as you would buy in the UK, then the only place I have found that sells decent tea is Tesco in Market Village, but hopefully somebody may have an alternative as i'm also interested to find an alternative - the Tesco tea is about 160 baht for a 250gm packet. I did try the Thai tea that they sell in Makro, but to me, the taste was disgusting.
I believe they also sell leaf tea at Villa Market, but their prices are more than Tesco.

If I remember rightly there's a specialist tea shop in the basement market area at Market Village. No idea what selection of teas they have though.

It's below the ground floor and where the underground car park used to be. I had my first visit this morning since the conversion and was surprised at the variety of shops/stalls down there. I found the speciality tea shop but it didn't have what I was looking for which was traditional English Breakfast tea, although they had a range of various herbal teas if that's what you are interested in.

No problem, I was going there anyway so this was a good diversion to see how the basement has been transformed into a miriad of shops/stalls.

We were just in the supermarket in Hua Hin Shopping Mall and as I was buying tea (Liptons Yellow label is good enough for the likes of me) I noticed they have at least 2 kinds of Ceylon English Breakfast and a selection of Twinings teas.

Many Starbucks also sell boxes of some very good IMO English Breakfast tea in bags. Bags unique as some kind of nylon mesh rather than paper. Pete
