Recommendation on restaurant for private party

Post by kyolihk »

Hi friends in Hua Hin

I'm traveling to the place with a group of 20 people next month and will be staying in Centara Grand

Would like to ask for recommendation of nice restaurant where we can hold a private dinner party. Any cuisine will do (as long as the foods are great). It would be great if the restaurant is within walking distance to our hotel.

Thank you so much for the help!

Try H&K, Heavens Kitchen on Soi 55. European andThai. Run by a German and Thai couple so great sausages and Thai food. Have had several parties there and always impressed.
I wouldn't have to manage my anger if people could learn to mange their stupidity!

Again, I have to suggest Terrace 90. Talk to them about giving you the entire upstairs if it's available on that day. They have a menu for all tastes with Thai, European (including Scandinavian and Italian), American, Mexican, and more. Everyone will find something to eat there and it has the perfect balcony for a private party.

Went to La Grappa Saturday night and had trully beautiful food, they have really raised the bar recently - it was a friends party and he set the menu with the owner... to die for.. I am sure the bill was pretty hefty but boy was it good :)

It all depends what the OP means by a "private party". If he really means private, Terrace 90 is probably the best bet, on the terrace.

If he just means a few tables shoved together, that's a different thing altogether.
This is the way

kyolihk,

If you want something a bit special, why not contact Mermaid Cruises. They have a purpose built party boat (SunCat 1), and I'm sure they could do something a bit special for you.

I've linked their page for you above. I would certainly contact them to see what they can offer.

I've never had a bad experience with them.

Agree with the quality of food at Coco Beach Club, but it is bloody expensive.
Terrace 90 is a good shout, you can have the entire terrace for one night.

Think that Karoon could be great for the guys, lovely setting and very reasonably priced food, owner called Fabrice, if you want his number let me know and send it.
I go to Coco for a treat once ot twice a month :).

I've emailed some of the suggested restaurants and see if they reply
If not maybe I will have to make calls (do they speak English or maybe Chinese?)
Really appreciate for all your friendly help!!!
