The Baguette
Re: The Baguette
There is a new bakery/ coffee shop/ breakfast cafe called "Love Bread" on Phetkasem, about a couple of kilometers past that Venezia monstrosity going N towards Cha Am and its well signposted. Its format is very similar to that of The Baguette, although their staff need to wake up a bit.
There is a large parking area and in my opinion, the products on offer are every bit as good as those of the Baguettes.
For those of us living on the north side of town, these new cafes and places such as the Pony cafe and all the new eating places in Soi 6 are more than welcome.
The fewer times I have to drive into town or squeeze onto the green songthaew the better.

I've seen the signs, but never spotted the shop - must be well hidden. I'm going that way later - will look again.

Its in a run of about 5 new white shophouses, on the northbound carriageway, 210.88 metres past the entrance to the Dusit Thani hotel (which is on the southbound carriageway), according to google maps !

Love Bread was formerly Baguette.

Re: The Baguette
I think we're talking about their new location on Petchkasem opposite the Dusit.
Re: The Baguette
Funny actually, I kept an eye open as I drove North today. I saw loads of signs for Baguette, but there was nothing for Love Bread anymore.
I've never seen any lights near the Dusit.

Re: The Baguette
So the Love Bread near Venezia is hard to find, and Love Bread in Cha-Am isn't Love Bread, but The Baguette . Actually I understand

Re: The Baguette
The Baguette moved from these premises in 2016. Love Bread has two shops, one in Cha-Am and the other on Petchkasem Road. I've been to neither of them but it's on my 'to-do' list.christopher1 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 17, 2018 12:41 pm Love Bread was formerly Baguette.

Re: The Baguette
Well, this is getting more ridiculous! Better ask Dannie Boy as he lives in the area. Don't ask Takiap as he speaks very little English, and I am not sure that he can count!
The Baguette on Petchkasem Rd. Cha-Am, is pretty easy to find, even Takiap could find it! I know nothing about any "Love Bread", but Reem has given good directions to the new shop on Petchkasem. I am guessing that "Love Bread" has taken over what was the Baguette shop in Cha-Am? And some time ago at that.

Fortunately he lives on the north side of town where the soi numbers are fairly low...
This is the way
Re: The Baguette
He does indeed, but he keeps calling it Soi 6, when, if you look at the road sign, it clearly reads; Soi 4!dtaai-maai wrote: ↑Sun Feb 18, 2018 9:01 amFortunately he lives on the north side of town where the Soi numbers are fairly low...

Re: The Baguette
I can’t promise to do it today, but next time I go that way I will check the name as it is quite some time that I went there (the new one on Petchkasem is a lot closer to my home), but it definitely used to be called the Baguette.Nereus wrote: ↑Sun Feb 18, 2018 8:40 amWell, this is getting more ridiculous! Re: The Baguette
I drove by it the other day, after leaving IMM and going southbound. Sign caught my eye, and would have stopped, but as usual..............no parking.

The Baguette - Cha-Am, one on the main drag, and as another poster has stated, the other is in the road that leads down to the beach by the traffic lights.
The Baguette - Hua-Hin, one just past the palace and Golden Place, if heading south, and the other to open shortly about 100 meters or so past the Toyota dealership located just after Soi 6, yes, Soi 6, definitely Soi 6.
