Do you remember when Red Barrel was 'available' in Spain?

Fish 'n chips, sausage 'n mash, pie 'n peas -

Cor Thailand really is going up in the world

Sorry but...................................

You fortunate lot 'down' in Hua Hin should be really pleased!!!

:guns:

Peter

PS - As a 'Tyke' myself, I think I should be excused this outburst

Hi Harry,

I'm certainly not part of any clique - just expressing my humble opinion.

Everyone gets 'withdrawal symptoms' and the occasional craving - but it would be a shame if the 'Costa HH' came into being.

It's funny how we tend to fall in love with a place for its own special qualities and local lifestyle - and then go on to change it to 'our' way.

 Peter

PS - Does the 'smooth flow' can provide enough 'bubbles' for the Hammers supporters?

PeteB,

I agree with your sentiment to a certain extent, however for people like me who live here in Thailand (in my case out of the UK for over 15 years) I do get real pangs of home and therefore welcome some paxo stuffing at Xmas or the chance to make some dumplings with some real suet. I don't believe an English product in a bar fridge or on a supermarket shelf is going to change the characteristic of a town or resort ...

lagerl-outs from abroad or up in the smoke are not going to swarm to HH because there is a can of beer or packet of crisps available.

A few big clubs a bunch of Go-Go bars is a different kettle of fish, ... well it smells like fish

Cant complain when beer gets added to any menu. Just means more beer and thats not a bad thing.

Well Stubby,

Pork Scratching are readily available in many places, just ask for 'Kha Moo' .

Same goes goes for the crab sticks, they are called 'clab sa-ti' :P

Be careful where you are when asking for whelks etc as asking for 'hoi' can either get you in trouble or errrm whelks
