July 4th and American angst?
Any Americans over here because they hate their homeland (excepting the natural beauty) wars, military spending, political corruption, race, illegal immigration, political correctness, guns, crime, gangs, Christian theocracy, Israel dictating its foreign policy, pot laws, police state, killer cops, obsession with the Kardashians, debased culture, extreme feminism, just a few helpful ideas.

^ LOL! There are a few lefty's I met that are over there for those reasons but by far the larger number of Americans are there because they have Thai wives that forced them to live there. There would be no other sensible reason for an American to be living there. 
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

^ I agree caller, but not just American nuts. Thailand seems to collect the nuts from all over the world.
