Personally, I'd go along with what Mrs Horton has said. I've never been a proponent of capital punishment.
I wonder if the court is aware of her sentiments? If so, it could have a bearing on the outcome.

I think its a question of having to use these animals as a lesson to others, as someone said in an earlier post will they view life in prison as that bad. Also if they execute these guys how long will it stay in the minds of people who commit acts such as this. Will killing these 2, personally i think its the only justice, actually be in the mind of someone who may be out of his mind with rage or out of his mind on drugs when they are at the moment of commiting a murder. Its a tough call, what action will give the most productive result, I dont know.
