I cant find the post, buta few months ago Usual Suspect wrote about the Cameras installed on Bintabaht. The sites where the bombs were planted were not VERY high traffic areas, esp the 2nd--Is it that that area is notcovered by cameras.

Just looked at some pictures of the casualties - can see that those bombs had nails in them.. - the bastards weren't just out to make a statement - they were out to kill and maim..
I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I shall be sober and you will still be ugly...

Just back from Makro, the Army detonated a suspicious package that had been dropped off in the car park. Went off with quite a bang, I was going through the checkout and wondered why the car park was so empty when it went off in front of me just at the end of where the cars usually park.

Just read a story on CNN where a link to the vote is being looked at.

It sounds like a reasonable thought. Sorry, don't know how to share from my phone.

I have been on social media and News sites all day ( because I'm not allowed out by Mrs N) and think there has been about 12 bombs that have been detonated or discovered.....that's a lot!

I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to the amazing local emergency crews, who turned up to do what they needed to do, not knowing if another device would detonate while they helped the victims. Good on you. There were some lovely humane things happening amidst all the sh*t.

Anyone know if the night market is open tonight? Not that I plan on going, but the wife's relatives think they want to.

Two Bombs & Not a word on this Forum

Post by telexs »

All news reports say two bomb have blown in Hua Hin,killing 2 people & injuring 10.Yet not one report on this forum of whats going on ???
Surely someone knows whats happening.Or are Hua Hin Expats too politically correct to advise.

In my view the perps by hitting HH have virtually attacked the King, which many Thais will not accept. There maybe BIG repercussion to many muslim people in Southern Thailand.
But as said When you fight fire expect to be burnt. I expect this to escalate to a major civil war against the Southern Provinces.Unfotunately many lives will be lost. This is no longer the LOS we all love.

My view anyway.Your free to attack it

Phuket got hit too. It's a bit frightening that whoever did this is targeting tourist areas.

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Went past Cicada earlier, and that was dead as a Dodo. I expect (don't know) all markets will be the same.

As Is aid before this isa new tactic, attack farang-heavy targets.Idont think that their main objective is to kill us. Itis to make the problemsof Thai an International issue and also possibly to hurt the tourist trade, which hurts the economy, which hurts the rulers.
Also obviously we are mostly interested in HH bombs , but with attacks in KS and Phuket it is country wide. I would not go into any crowded site if I was in Pattaya.
Is this a bad weekend or the beginning of a civil war, eitherway, the value of your house just lost 10%
