I agree, but thank's to this young liar, a real rape will not be seriously taken in consideration. There will be a doubt.

There always will be doubt when Thai "police" are involved on a mafia run island.

Once again y'all took the bait. You know he get's off on your responses and you get nothing in return. Ignore him and put an end to creeping language pollution.

"No credible evidence"
“However if there is any new evidence or the claimant comes to Thailand to provide more information, we will be ready to reopen the investigation,” Chakthip said.

And here we go again ...

Hunt for man who raped Norwegian tourist on Koh Pha-ngan
Police on Koh Phangan have launched a manhunt for a man who allegedly raped a Norwegian tourist early Sunday after she had spent time at the Half Moon party late Saturday night, a police spokesman said Sunday.

Pol Col Krissana Pattanacharoen said the national police chief had instructed the Surat Thani police head office to speed up efforts to arrest the rapist at the popular tourist destination, which is known the world over for its Full Moon and Half Moon parties.

Krissana said the tourist filed a complaint with the Phangan police station at 8am Sunday, telling the officers that she had been raped by a motorcyclist.

She said she visited the Half Moon party on the beach in Moo 3 village in Tambon Ban Tai at 11pm. When she returned to her hotel, she found that her wallet had disappeared so she walked back to the beach to look for it. On her way back to the beach, a motorcyclist stopped and offered her a ride to help her look for her wallet. After a short ride, she noticed that the motorcyclist was not heading in the right direction and told him to stop.

She told police that she jumped off when he refused to stop but he parked up then raped her before riding off. She however could not identify the nationality of the man, saying she was so drunk. Krissana said police have taken photos off the scene and interviewed some locals. Footage from CCTVs in the area would be examined to try to identify the motorcyclist.

Koh Phangan rape suspect arrested

https://www.bangkokpost.com/news/crime/ ... t-arrested

SURAT THANI: Police on Monday evening arrested a Thai man for allegedly raping a Norwegian woman aged 26, one day after he was released from jail for narcotic offences.

Police identified the suspect as Rewat Hansuwan, a 33-year-old native of Khanom district in Nakhon Si Thammarat province. He was arrested at a motorcycle repair shop near Thong Sala market on Koh Phangan.

Police found he and his motorcycle matched the descriptions of the suspect in surveillance camera footage. The man was seen talking with the Norwegian woman and her male friend before the rape.

Earlier, the Norwegian woman told police she was looking for a lost wallet after attending a half-moon party in the early hours of Sunday. An Asian man on his motorcycle gave her a ride and volunteered to help her find the wallet. Later he allegedly attacked and raped her.

Police said the man had been freed on Saturday from a prison on the nearby Koh Samui after serving his term for narcotic possession and trafficking. He later applied for a job at the motorcycle repair shop on Koh Phangan.

Police were interrogating him and already received a warrant for his arrest from the Koh Samui Court that allows for his detention.

Being drunk in public is just a bad idea full stop. Should be illegal. It's dangerous but, more importantly, the sober people around you have to look upon and listen to the ugliness that is a drunk. That said, rape is even uglier and already illegal so that's bad, too.

In some places yes--On KP, At least two Strong, ready to fight companions are needed.

Unfortunately, in the cold light of day and down there, you're probably correct.
