In my opinion the whole Musk thing was a promo opportunity from the beginning.

For someone of his standing, the Twitter outburst was out of place for sure, but to be honest, I really don't think Musk needs to try and grab attention. If his little mini sub could indeed have made the journey, then it would surely have been much less risky that using stretchers. However, if that had been done, all credit would have gone to one man which might have proven to be a bitter pill to swallow for some.

I've just watched this documentary broadcast on Australian TV. Very interesting and factual for a change. Listening to the divers, it did show me that Elon Musk's solution really didn't have a cat in hell's chance of working.

Just watched this documentary and it was amazing to see what the whole team achieved.
It should make every nation proud of this almost impossible achievement.

Couldn’t agree more, in such troubled times that we live in, it was great to see an international and domestic team come together and defy the odds of getting them all out alive. Such a shame that one of the rescue team died in the process, but the outcome far exceeded most people’s expectations.
