Muggings in Cha-am

My Swedish brother in-law was mugged last week on second road in Cha-am.
Silly man! He'd decided to leave his room on Soi Cattareya at 0100 and go for a walk.
He was confronted by a Thai Guy on a motorbyke.
Let's make this a short story...... He went with the Guy, he took him into open country and brandished a gun, pistol whipped him twice and took a 2 baht gold chain plus wallet.

Don't go walking about alone after midnight!

I wouldn't take a ride with a stranger, especially at 0100, anywhere, even Beverly Hills! (especially Beverly Hills)

Yep, have to agree with other posts charleyboy..... does sound like your brother-in-law has a dose of muppet-itus if he's getting on the back of a complete stranger's bike at 1am..... now why would he want to do that?

Let's get this thread in context. It is nothing to do with "muggings in Cha-am". It is a sad story of a gay pick up that went wrong. Instead of leaving this misleading title where everyone can see it, shouldn't it moved into Nightcrawlers where it belongs?
