another hotel request

First time visitor to HH looking for help in choosing a hotel.

Lets see,

budget would be 1500 - 2000Baht

double bed is always nice

air con

wi-fi (free if possible)

In room safe

swimming pool

and close to the nightlife

oh yes girl friendly just in case I meet the girl of my dreams one evening

Arranged my first trip to HH for the begining of may and decided to stay at the Baan Rajdamnen

The wi-fi isnt free as I wanted and I dont need a girl friendly place as I will be bringing the girl friend.

One question is

How far is it from the bus station and how much should a tuk tuk cost me (from the bus station) I ask because I know the driver will say one price I will roughly cut it in half and then we will agree about half way between the 2 if I am lucky, But it would be nice to klnpw the rough cost in advance, cheers

2-3km approx. 120-150 Baht.

you will enjoy your stay, hope the hotel is good , i not sure which area that is in.

You may be lucky with wifi and be able to get a free connection from a near by place, that what i have done in the past ,

I as you are coming with your girl friend , she does not meet the girl of your dreams some place

If near the night market, i sure this is not too near the night life bar part , but that does depend on what people call near.

And i do hope for you it in the town , or the ride from the bus or train station may be a long one.

Now i bet every will now put me right and tell me the place is right on top of both, but i get lost very easy and have so much fun finding my way back.

Not sure when you arrive ( missed that to prob) or leave , but i hope all is swell and you have a good time.

If you're near the Night Market, you're within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance to most places in the centre of town. It'll be pretty hard to get lost.

I think it is directly opposte Market Village so it is not far from Grand Hotel night market and about a 15 minute walk to town.

Had a message from my girl friend and she can only get 2 days off work and I have booked accomodation for 3 nights ????

might have the chance to bump into the girl of my dreams after all
