springfield beach club

we are staying at the springfield in dec what i want to know is how far to the town . and does anyone know what sort of hotel it is good/bad

springfield resort is on the beach 5km from cha am and 18km north of hua hin......300 baht should get u a roundtrip taxi to HH.....

i almost purchased a condo there 6 yrs ago(decided on another property) and the units were quite nice.....the pool looks well maintained and there are a number of small restaurants on the beach nearby(try Panna's)....i've had friends stay there and no one has said a bad word about it.....

Springfield golf course is only 15 minutes away but i think it's overrated...Lake View(which is just behind Springfield) has a little more character in my opinion
