Long term house rental.
Long term house rental.
Hi all. I am a newby to this so please forgive any mistakes I make.
Anyway, I have visited Thailand a few times now, usually visiting a friend who lives in Hua Hin and have got to the point where I am considering long term (6-12 months initially) rental with a view to possible retirement. I would appreciate any advice/comments/recommendations re property rental ( initially) with a view to buying in the future. I would like a 2/3 bedroom villa/house with pool prefereably within walking distance of the beach/town or shops if possible. (I like to do a bit of exercise- gym, walking, cycling).
I will be in Hua Hin very soon so can view places if there are any available
Thanks for any comments.

Re: Long term house rental.
The house I am renting now will be available end of July. About 100m to the beach. Quiet area. Great for running, walking, biking. 3bdrm, 2 bath.
Great landlord and covered parking.
About 4 or 5 km S of Hua Hin in Khao Tao.

Hello Smileymel, We have a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom place available for long term, but you will need transport to get to town and beach, it is 8 km inland on gated development. This has a centralised pool and gym. If you are interested you will need to contact me by PM.

Thanks BB,,,I didn't think I had done anything wrong..
Re: Long term house rental.
Hi. At the minute I seem to be paying about £30-£40 per night for hotels so I guess in the region of that.
About 20 min max walk to beach or town would be ideal
I will be in hh in shortly for a look around and plan on returning in October, to either do a 6 month stay then or starting from jan next year.

40gbp a night is about 52,000 bht a month. You can live in luxury for that amount. You can live very well for 1/2 that.
