Ok, want to find out a few things before I leave...
Can I buy tampons there easily enough? I've heard a lot of asian women don't use them, but then there is also a 7-11...
Have you found a good doctor you trust for smear tests? I always have abnormal ones so need to keep on top of this.
Contraceptive pills? I use the brand Estelle as it keeps my skin clear also, should I try and bring a supply with me?
Thrush medication (just in case!)?
Cold sore cream/suppressant?
Ok the above list sounds just gross but I want to be prepared for anything!!!!!
Women only please!

Tampons can be bought here - either in Boots or (I think) Watsons or even the photo shop/supermarket opposite Pizza Corner (Royal Print??) on Damnern Kasem Road. As for your particular brand of pill, not sure, but many can be bought (without prescription) from the local pharmacies.
Smear tests, I always use Bumrungrad too. Not sure if anyone in Hua Hin does them (maybe San Paulo?), but I know that the hospital near Big C in Petchaburi is supposed to be very good with "women's things" and is only an hour away, compared to BKK's 2 and a half hours.

Last time we were in HH my wife ran out of a presciption medicine. San Paulo did not carry what my wife uses, but were able to get it in from Bangkok fairly quickly. On that trip, I ended up fairly ill, and we had to get San Paulo to do a home visit. One doctor and 2 nurses promptly turned up. I thought they did a 1st class job. I know that San Paulo tends to get a bit of negative reaction from the ex pats, but so far we have been happy with them and will go back should the need arise.
