I thought that this place was a sponsor, but I cannot find it now. He has used artificial grass for his greens I believe.

Why not have a word with the chap who has recently opened the lawn bowling place?

They quoted me 1,200 per square meter fitted, though not sure if all the joins are sealed and it is properly secured down. Thai Watsadu have it about half this price but haven't a clue about laying it. 1,200 baht initially seems pricey but given that you only have to sweep it off, no watering, mowing, edging, fertiliser etc. for the future it probably works out cheaper in the long term plus, if fitted properly, it always looks good.

Just a point on fake grass is that the stuff can be very hot to touch especially if it's in full sun

I haul artificial grass and yes in the summer heat it can get very hot and needs to be cooled down with water to walk on bare foot.
The grass is called Namgrass manufactured in Belgum same sort of price per meter as Thai prices Namgrass is the stuff they used at the London Olympics.
