Thai Lessons

Post by terry+carmen »

Been in Hua Hin for over six months already, interestingly enough no problems with immigration, car registration, land office, lawyer, blue book, hospitals, dentist, moving company in fact no problems at all.

Maybe we are lucky, my advice to anyone dealing with officialdom dress correctly and be courteous, works for us. Happy to share our experiences with anyone if it will help your transition to LOS.

Next priority is to reduce my handicap (John at Mongkol Driving Range helping there) and learn Thai does anyone have any recommendations for Thai Schools, basic speaking only at this stage "can I buy you a drink, your beautiful and are you free Friday" for him and "how much, that's too expensive" for her. You get the idea!

Thanks.

Hi Terry & Carmen

Try Fun English opposite the Palace on Petchkasem road, or the guy at the old shopping mall, 2nd floor I think. I used the first one, though my teacher has now left, not sure if they have a replacement yet.

Know of a thai lady who is in the process of setting up a language school, I'll be checking it out when I get back in January.

Good luck!
