Indians, Malays etc - khaek (= guest)

For Chinese, do you mean Putonghua (Mandarin) Bamboo Grove? Not sure about that dialect, but in Cantonese the word for foreigners of the Caucasian variety is "gweilo". I've heard it translated as "white ghost" (more often) and (less often) "green-eyed devil". Either way, highly derogatory (and usually meant to be when used).
I could be wrong (probably am :oops: ) but I don't feel that farang is meant to be quite that insulting. :)
